" 3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved."
Ephesians 1:3-6

Our baby is here!! Born on his due date!! Yay!

E was born!! 8 "11" 21inches long.
I got a call at about 4:30am from alicia telling me she was going to the ER, i jumped up and said "ill be there in two!" So i got andy and Landyn up and we picked up some flowers and breakfast and got to the hospital. Where we remained all day...poor alicia was in labor until 5pm!! so i stayed right with her, along side her beautiful aunt Teresa and Mom Mary. I got to stay throughout the entire birth and had the pleasure of cutting the cord.
I must admit birth is kind of beautiful from this side of things, you know, the not giving birth side of things. What an awesome experience We get to tell E when he grows up. Well I am updating this from an iPhone so I hope everything goes through so you know what's going on. I will remain at the hospital until Alicia is comfortable with me leaving, but I'm okay with making sure she is very well taken care of before I leave. She is a trouper!! I love her and I am just so blessed to be apart of her life!

Meet Alicia!

Good morning!

Yesterday was a very special day for me because my mom got to come visit me in Zeeland, and from there we both went to meet Alicia at the hospital for her check up and to hear the baby's heart beat. We then took her out for dinner afterward for a little meet and greet and it went wonderful! I am so thankful  these two beautiful women got to meet.
While we were visiting, I started telling Alicia about our blog. She responded really well to my idea of  introducing her to everyone here. So, with her permission I had the pleasure of taking some pictures on our outing.
I am so pleased to introduce Alicia: Our future son's strong and beautiful birth-mom.

Cousin time for L

Andy and I had a fabulous time this past weekend with these beautiful kids! We got to watch Henry, Suzy and Harrison from Friday to Monday morning and it was so FUN!

We made it!

We mad the big move!!  We just have to get the other house painted and up on the market before the baby comes...whew. Thank you so much to those of you that helped us move all of our junk. We know it is neither fun nor convenient to volunteer yourself for such a move as this, but we are so thankful and appreciative of your willingness to help.

Alicia and baby are doing well but she is defiantly ready for him to vacate the premises, if you now what I mean. Last night we had a false alarm. She went into the hospital thinking she was in labor and the doctors thought so too, but they decided to send her home until her contractions are a specific time apart, or her water breaks. Today Alicia said that the contractions are not as sever but most certainly still there, and of course driving her crazy. So, we are not quite sure what is going to happen but we are excited and terrified at the same time! yay! I also need to put a baby room together before he arrives...haha we have a rediculous amount of things to do. So, Thank you very much for all the prayers. not only for us but especially for Alicia and the baby. I will be keeping you updated as soon as we know more.

Have a wonderfully blessed day,

Listyn
