" 3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved."
Ephesians 1:3-6

An update for you

Well hello there!

Well, we was were just thinking that we would give you an update on our adoption today. I know it probably feels like this blog is more of a "random story telling blog" than an adoption blog, but it does take time. Adoption takes a lot of time.
So, with that being said, I would like to thank you for being patient with us as we pass our waiting process with stories, projects and fun pictures.

We are continuing to get referrals of birth mothers and fathers and we are waiting on their responses. This waiting time is honestly the most difficult part of the adoption process thus far, but obviously we have a long way to go yet. We are staying very positive that the Lord has a child/children out there for our family, and we remain at peace with wherever that will lead us. Andy and I are looking forward to what the Lord has to teach  us through our life's circumstances, especially since we are already in awe of what He has been teaching us from day one of this beautiful process.

Thank you so much for your prayers and encouragement, we could never express how much it means to be so loved from so many of you. If I may, I would love to ask for a continuance of prayers for our family, and for our future birth family. Thank you for reading and again thank you for your support.

Look out moms! this new look is the next fashionable bike helmet of the summer!

Landyn put his hat on to protect his face from the sun while playing outside and riding his bike. So he grabbed his helmet and naturally, the two are supposed to work together...haha why have one when you can fit both! Not only does it protect against sunburn and head splatter, but its trendy...right?
